There may be faster and better ways to make round tenons on irregular pieces of wood but I found the Veritas brand of tenon makers and never looked anywhere else. I am not in any way connected to that company.
For each size tenon, there is a specific Veritas bit and I have four of them 3/4 inch, 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch and a 2 inch bit. The holes are done with corresponding sized Forstner bits.
In this video, which is very short, I am making a new 3/4″ tenon on a piece of cedar limb which is destined to become part of another Nodus . The bench legs and supports are mostly constructed with the 1″ and 1 1/4″. The Little Tables legs were attached using the 2″.
My neighbor raises roosters but I filmed this outside for the better light.
